Catherine Allatt

Catherine Allatt is our full time Podiatrist at Hallux Podiatry. She studied for her degree in podiatry at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

She is a Member of the College of Podiatry and is regulated by the Health Care Professions Council. Catherine is qualified to administer local anaesthetics (LA) as well as Prescription Only Medicines (POMs).  She has a particular interest in ingrowing nails and verruca treatments. She is qualified to perform all podiatric treatments.

Emma Barnes

BSc (Hons) Podiatry, PGCert Podiatric Sports and Exercise Medicine, PGCert Medical Ultrasound, HCPC registered.

Emma is a podiatrist and foot and ankle sonographer, specialising in musculoskeletal conditions of the foot and ankle, podiatric sports and exercise medicine and point of care ultrasound imaging of foot and ankle conditions. 

Emma graduated from Cardiff Met University in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry and she went on to work in general podiatry in the NHS for over 10 years. In 2017 Emma gained a PgCert in Podiatric Sports Medicine at Queen Mary University London which led to a change of role to a full time position as a Musculoskeletal Podiatrist in the NHS in 2018.  She qualified as a sonographer in musculoskeletal ultrasound in 2020.  Emma continues to focus on musculoskeletal podiatry but also enjoys providing general foot care.   

 

Amy Power

Amy studied for her degree in podiatry at Southampton University. Amy has gained 20 years of experience working in the NHS where she continues to work part time. She is a Member of the College of Podiatry and is regulated by the Heath Care Professions Council. Amy Is qualified to administer local anaesthetics as well as Prescription Only Medications (POMs) and has a particular interest in nail surgery and diabetic wound care.

Jane Thompson

Jane is a Foot Health Practitioner who studied and is insured with the SMAE Institute. Jane is qualified to perform general foot care treatments including corns removal and callus reduction and offers a nail cutting service.

Alison Ashman

Alison is a Foot Health Practitioner who studied and is insured with the SMAE Institute. Alison is qualified to perform general foot care treatments including corns removal and callus reduction and offers a nail cutting service.
